Not much movement in this week's edition of the INCH Power Rankings – especially at the top – but were not about to say we had it all right from the start. A few teams, like North Dakota, earned additional respect in the first big week of action, while others, like Michigan State, saw their stock fall like, well, stock.

Take a look at how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff think the contenders stack up – and let us know what you think. Send us your own Power Rankings, with comments, and we just might publish them.

1. Denver Omaha's not Yost – sorry for the reminder, Pioneers – but it's a tough place to play. Two impressive wins.
2. New Hampshire Only DI team to post 10 goals this weekend against a team outside the MAAC.
3. Minnesota The Twins might have stolen some of the Xcel's energy, but the Gophers had plenty.
4. Boston University 1 Friday's shootout win counts as a tie, so Saturday's win counts as the program's 1,200th. Follow that? Either way, Terriers take the Ice Breaker title.
5. Maine 1 Next time, be sure the cupcake Canadian team you invite is really a cupcake.
6. North Dakota 5 Two games, five goals, three assists. Freshman Zach Parise might have liked Buffalo enough to lead his team back there.
7. Boston College 1 First two goals of the season scored by Eaves – Patrick Eaves.
8. Michigan 2 Glimpse of the future? Mel Pearson coached the Wolverines while Red Berenson attended his father's 90th birthday party.
9. Cornell 1 Class of ECAC will start season Nov. 1 at Ohio State.
10. Providence 3 If everyone points to you as the surprise team in your league, would success really be a surprise?
11. Notre Dame 1 Goaltender Morgan Cey strong in 1-0-1 showing at Minnesota-Duluth.
12. Northern Michigan 6 Will regain some spots with a strong showing vs. Michigan State this weekend in Marquette.
13. Michigan State 4 Shut out to end last year (vs. CC) and start this year (vs. DU), the first consecutive blankings for MSU since 1928-29. Ouch.
14. Clarkson 1 U.S. Under-18 Team visits Cheel on Saturday
15. Harvard NR Our best bubble team moves up in the rankings as Ohio State drops out.
16. Wisconsin Badger bummer: Mike Eaves loses his first game to Rensselaer.
