Last week's top two teams – Colorado College and Maine – proved their worth in a pair of heavily anticipated conference series over the weekend. Meanwhile, No. 3 Cornell took care of business outside the conference. As a result, things didn't change much atop this week's Power Rankings, although North Dakota, St. Lawrence and Northern Michigan made sure that didn't stay true throughout.

Take a look at how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff think the contenders stack up – and let us know what you think.

1. Colorado College Tigers extend unbeaten streak to 14, gain inside track on claiming Gold Pan with sweep of Denver.
2. Maine Win, tie at BC runs unbeaten streak to 12 since loss to No. 1 CC.
3. Cornell Say what you want about the ECAC, Big Red are 5-0-0 in non-conference games.
4. North Dakota 4 Hello, Grand Forks. A little more than halfway through 14-game homestand(!), Sioux are 7-0-1 at REA.
5. Boston College The good news: Patrick Eaves will be back from Saturday's frightening neck injury. The bad: it will take six weeks.
6. New Hampshire 2 Sometimes, you run into a hot goalie. St. Lawrence's Kevin Ackley makes 48 saves in Saturday's win at the Whitt.
7. Denver 1 Flags outside Ritchie Center flying at half-staff after disappointing weekend losses to Colorado College.
8. Harvard 3 "Veritas", Harvard's motto, is Latin for truth. With upcoming games against Boston College and Maine, veritas – one way or the other – is on the horizon.
9. Michigan 2 Puckheads break out Red Berenson voodoo doll. Northern Michigan wins fifth straight against Wolverines.
10. Ferris State 1 A split with Michigan State wasn't unexpected, but we thought the 'Dogs would win at home and lose at Munn.
11. Minnesota 1 Gophers, Lucia welcome Team Italy to Mariucci.
12. Ohio State 1 Bad news for the CCHA – the Bucks' R.J. Umberger is finally figuring out he should be dominant.
13. Miami 1 What's worse than getting swept by Ohio State prior to holiday break? Knowing you have to face Denver in first game after Christmas.
14. Northern Michigan NR Wildcats, Michigan Tech renew UP rivalry this week, so you can throw out the records. Actually, Huskies would prefer it that way.
15. Boston University 1 Terriers salvage split with Massachusetts with win Saturday, snap three-game losing streak in the process.
16. Massachusetts 1 Triumphant return? Toot's troops travel to Princeton for non-conference skirmish Thursday.
