For the second straight week, our top four teams didn't move an inch (sorry for the pun, but we couldn't resist). That made it easy to pick the top four seeds in our first installment of the INCH 4x4, an early look at where you might be watching your favorite team in the fifth weekend of March: Providence, Worcester, Ann Arbor, Minneapolis – or at home.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff ranks the nation's top teams. As always, you can let us know what you think.

1. Colorado College

Numerologists, take note. No. 27 (Peter Sejna) extends point streak to school-record 27 games with his 26th goal of the season.

2. Maine Maine's unbeaten streak at Alfond hits 28 (23-0-5), but the Black Bears are on the road for this weekend's big series with UNH.
3. North Dakota All eyes on Colorado Springs this weekend for the big Sioux-Tigers series.
4. Cornell Another weekend, another ECAC sweep, another LeNeveu shutout. The Big Red could run the table in the regular season and nobody would be surprised.
5. Michigan 2 Even with Andy Burnes injured and Eric Werner ineligible, undermanned defense held Lake Superior to one goal in two games. But can they do it against Ferris State?
6. New Hampshire 1 Mike Ayers tied school record for shutouts in a season with his fifth Saturday night. For those of you who only saw him at last year's Frozen Four, yes, that Mike Ayers.
7. Boston College 1 It's crowded at the top of Hockey East, with Eagles joined by Maine, UNH in three-way tie.
8. Minnesota Granted, they didn't lose to Mankato this weekend but at this stage in the WCHA race, it probably felt like it.
9. Ferris State Home-and-home with Michigan this weekend, then the schedule gets extremely favorable for the Bulldogs.
10. Denver 1 Wisconsin in town + NHL All-Star break = Tony Granato sighting at Magness Arena?
11. Ohio State 1 Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, you knew UNO's Dan Ellis would turn in a weekend like this sooner or later.
12. Harvard It's been so long since these guys played, Mark Mazzoleni's picture was on the side of a milk carton.
13. Boston U. Jack Parker, on Saturday night's 3-0 loss to UNH: "That game was a pathetic example of the things that happen to an undisciplined hockey team ... It was difficult to watch how stupid we are."
14. Michigan State 2 You'd be a rich man if you bet two months ago that Rick Comley's team would have more wins than Tom Izzo's by Jan. 31.
15. St. Cloud State Dog days? Huskies follow last weekend's split with Bulldogs (UMD) with two-game series against WCHA's other Huskies (Michigan Tech).
16. Minnesota State, Mankato NR Two ties at Minnesota give the Mavericks nine – count 'em, nine – ties this year.
