The upsets were few and far between this weekend, and those that happened were minor in nature. As a result, there wasn't too much movement in the INCH Power Rankings, although two new entries appear – including one team, Massachusetts, that lost.

Looking down the road even further, check out our INCH 4x4, which projects what you might see in the NCAA Tournament regional pairings when they are announced next Sunday. That may not be the same as what they'd be if the season ended today – since, as you probably know, the season doesn't end today.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff ranks the nation's top teams. You can let us know what you think and we'll share your thoughts below.

1. Colorado College

Tigers put a merciful end to Alaska Anchorage's season.

2. Ferris State Gave Lake State the Serena Williams treatment: 6-1, 6-1.
3. Cornell Another weekend, another shutout. The competition just gets tougher from here, though.
4. New Hampshire A team with Gare, Hemingway and Saviano gets the OT game-winner from Tyson Teplitsky. That's the stuff titles are made of.
5. Minnesota 1 Travis Weber left Saturday's game early with a hand injury. When the media asked Don Lucia if he knew which hand it was, he said, "I do."
6. Michigan 1 Who's more connected than Jim Hunt? The Wolverines' radio color commentator (and friend of INCH) scored intermission interviews with Jeff Jackson and Bobby Nystrom on Friday.
7. Boston University 2 Here's hoping Sean Fields got to sleep in on Sunday. Come to think of it, his teammates probably owed him breakfast in bed.
8. Boston College 3 Semifinal loss continues Eagles' troubling struggles in big games (Beanpot, regular season-ending series with UNH).
9. Maine 1 A week off may do wonders for the Black Bears. Three weeks, however, may be a bit much.
10. Minnesota State Univ., Mankato WCHA team most likely to suffer an upset in the first round escaped with a pair of one-goal wins over Wisconsin.
11. North Dakota Jake Brandt stepped in Friday night in relief and backstopped the Sioux to overtime wins Saturday and Sunday.
12. Harvard Sweep of Vermont solidifies Crimson's spot in the NCAA field.
13. Ohio State Do you think the Buckeyes counted Friday night's game as Saturday afternoon's pre-game skate?
14. Michigan State How do you clinch a best-of-three series in the first game? An 11-1 win should do it.
15. Minnesota-Duluth NR First-round win over St. Cloud State should spare us the sight of the 17-15-5 Huskies in the NCAA Tournament.
16. Massachusetts NR Young and talented, at this time next year we'll be talking about UMass's chances in the NCAA Tournament.
