As Halloween gives way to November, added stability seems to have taken hold in the INCH Power Rankings. With a month under our belts, for most teams, we know what we have: two potentially great teams, along with another 11 or so that appear to have solidified themselves.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff rank the nation's top teams (along with a note for each team).

Saturday's game goes down as the Black Bears' first blemish, but a point on the road against an archrival is OK in our book – especially when only one team in last week's top 10 earned a sweep.
7-0-1 (2-0-1 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W at Merrimack, 4-1; T at Boston University, 2-2 ot. THIS WEEK: vs. UMass Lowell, vs. New Hampshire.
2. Minnesota
And he can score too! Tyler Hirsch's second goal of the season (alongside a dozen assists) is the OT winner, as the Gophers sweep at the DECC.
8-1-0 (4-0-0 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W at Minnesota Duluth, 3-2; W at Minnesota Duluth, 3-2 ot. THIS WEEK: vs. St. Cloud State, at St. Cloud State.
3. Boston College
The Eagles were outshot by a combined total of 25 in their two games last week.
5-2-0 (2-1-0 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: L at Providence, 5-3; W vs. Vermont, 1-0. THIS WEEK: at Harvard (Tues.), at Merrimack.
4. Michigan State
Lerg-onomics: After giving up 10 goals in 100 minutes in a split with Michigan last weekend, sophomore goalie Jeff Lerg has a 3.90 GAA and a .818 save percentage.
4-2-0 (2-2-0 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Michigan, 7-4; L at Michigan, 6-2. THIS WEEK: vs. Ferris State, at Ferris State.
5. Miami
Hotter than Playstation 3, forward Nathan Davis has scored eight goals and 14 points in the RedHawks' last five games.
7-3-0 (4-2-0 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Northern Michigan, 5-1; L vs. Northern Michigan, 4-2. THIS WEEK: at Lake Superior State, at Lake Superior State.
6. North Dakota

He's baaaaaack! Jonathan Toews assisted on two of the three Sioux goals on Friday and now gets a bye weekend to rest up for the long trip to Anchorage.
6-3-1 (4-1-1 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. St. Cloud State, 3-1; T vs. St. Cloud State, 2-2 ot. THIS WEEK: Off.
7. Boston University

Once a walk-on defenseman, Matt Gilroy had two goals at right wing this weekend. And that's the only good news on the Terrier offensive front.
2-1-3 (2-1-2 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: T at UMass Lowell, 1-1 ot; T vs. Maine, 2-2 ot. THIS WEEK: at New Hampshire.
8. Wisconsin

Jake Dowell's seven goals provide the only real answer among all of Bucky's offensive questions, as Wisconsin lost one in Anchorage for the first time since 2002.

9. Clarkson

The Golden Knights lead the nation in offense, with 4.88 goals per game. Steve Zalewski has eight of Clarkson's 39 goals on the year.
6-1-1 (2-0-0 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: W at Harvard, 5-2; W at Dartmouth, 6-3. THIS WEEK: vs. Quinnipiac, vs. Princeton.
10. Michigan
The Wolverines ended a nine-game winless streak (4-0-5) against Michigan State with a 6-2 win against the Spartans in Ann Arbor Saturday.
5-3-0 (2-2-0 CCHA). LAST WEEK: L at Michigan State, 7-4; W vs. Michigan State, 6-2. THIS WEEK: vs. Nebraska-Omaha, vs. Nebraska-Omaha.
11. Notre Dame
The Irish take on Bowling Green for their first game at home since, well, their first game – the season opener against Minnesota State on Oct. 12.
6-1-1 (1-0-1 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W at Ohio State, 4-2; T at Ohio State, 1-1 ot. THIS WEEK: vs. Bowling Green, vs. Bowling Green.
12. Denver

Typist's nighmare as easy names like Carle and Stastny give way to head-scratchers like Ruegsegger and Rakhshani. And defenders are finding them even harder to stop than they are to spell.

13. Alaska

Dion Knelson, the CCHA's top rookie scorer, hurt his shoulder in practice the day before the Nanooks series opener at Nebraska-Omaha, but junior Kyle Greentree (4-3—7 on the weekend) picked up the slack.
5-1-2 (3-0-1 CCHA). LAST WEEK: T at Nebraska-Omaha, 5-5 ot; W at Nebraska-Omaha, 4-3. THIS WEEK: at Northern Michigan, at Northern Michigan.
14. Dartmouth

All three of Dartmouth's goals against Clarkson came on the power play, but they had 16 opportunities and allowed a short-handed goal against.

15. New Hampshire

Brett Hemingway finally got on the board this weekend after leading UNH with 19 goals last season.
4-2-0 (2-1-0 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W vs. Northeastern, 6-3; W at Northeastern, 3-1. THIS WEEK: vs. Boston University, at Maine.
16. Cornell

These are exciting times in Ithaca. The Big Red are 4-0-0 and hated Harvard comes to town on Friday.

17. Rensselaer

The Engineers have allowed more goals (19) than they've scored (18) but have just one loss in seven games.

18. Massachusetts

Break up the Bay State state schools: the Minutemen and UMass Lowell join BU atop the Hockey East standings.

19. Colorado College

After giving up 21 goals during their four-game losing streak, the Tigers rediscovered defense in their sweep of Michigan Tech.

Reality bites. Huskies defended well in Colorado Springs, but two goals per weekend isn't going to cut it.
