We combine two of our most popular content items, the weekly INCH Power Rankings with our annual NCAA Tournament haikus. There are 16 teams in the NCAA Tournament of course, and three of the teams not in the field were near the top of the Power Rankings earlier this year:

Pollsters showed love, but
Merrimack, Buckeyes, Irish
Were just one-night stands

So, in the spirit of the thing, we'll write haikus even for the four ranked teams not in the tournament field. Those elite 16 teams are just two wins away from a preferred destination, but this week's weather might provide a preview:
