The Hobey Baker Memorial Award is presented to a deserving recipient on the day before the last college hockey game of the season. But that doesn’t mean that college hockey fans, players and media members don’t think about it all season. This week's Inside College Hockey's Hobey Tracker takes a look at how the 10 finalists for the award are trending following last week's league championships and this week's NCAA Regionals.

BULL MARKET: STOCK RISING

Nathan Gerbe
Boston College
Junior | Forward

The Hockey East tournament's Most Valuable Player scored 1-4—5 to lead the Eagles to the title and put 15 shots on goal against UNH. The one-time co-favorite is making a late run at Porter.

Jean-Philippe Lamoureux
North Dakota
Senior | Goalie

Lamoureux was solid in a WCHA Final Five semifinal loss to Denver, then outdueled Richard Bachmann in a consolation-game win over Colorado College.

T.J. Oshie
North Dakota
Junior | Forward
After being held scoreless in a loss to Denver in the WCHA Final Five semis, he bounced back with a goal and an assist in a consolation-game win against Colorado College that locked up a No. 1 seed in the NCAAs this weekend.
HOLDING STEADY

Ryan Jones
Miami
Senior | Forward

He had just one point, an assist, in the CCHAs in Detroit, but his screen allowed Miami to score the game-tying goal against Notre Dame and he earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

Simon Lambert
RIT
Senior | Forward
RIT's season is over, and it was a fine one for Lambert, one of the nation's leading scorers who will long be remembered as one of the builders for the Tiger program at the Division I level.
Jeff Lerg
Michigan State
Junior | Goalie
Michigan State didn't play in Detroit, but they're in a high-profile NCAA Regional this weekend. Leading State back to the Frozen Four will cement Lerg's reputation as a big-game goalie.
Kevin Regan
New Hampshire
Senior | Goalie
Don't let the five goals allowed deceive you; he made 62 saves in just over 100 minutes of work in last week's triple-overtime loss to Boston College.
BEAR MARKET: STOCK FALLING
Lee Jubinville
Princeton
Junior | Forward
Princeton won ECAC Hockey, but Jubinville didn't have a point in either win. Curious voters who tuned in to see him play might be disappointed.
Ryan Lasch
St. Cloud State
Sophomore | Forward
Lasch assisted on both St. Cloud State goals against Minnesota, but his team didn't advance to the semifinals of the Final Five.
Kevin Porter
Michigan
Senior | Forward
He's still the clear favorite, but didn't do himself any favors by not recording a single point in last week's CCHA championship.
