Dozens of Collegians Taken in WHA Draft

The odds of them ever wearing a World Hockey Association jersey may be slim, but dozens of current and future college players were taken in the 30 rounds of the WHA Amateur Draft on Sunday.

Major junior players dominated the selections, which were made by seven WHA franchises and one "Founders' Franchise." For a complete list of selections, plus the WHA's Free Agent Draft that was held on Saturday, visit the league's web site.
