His Impact: Earl started, continued, and finished Wisconsin's stirring comeback Friday night against top-ranked North Dakota, capping it all off with a brilliant overtime goal. In addition to his hat trick in game one of the series, he notched the game-winner in the back end of the two-game set Saturday, helping Wisconsin solidify its position in the WCHA standings and, more importantly, boosting the confidence of a team that had posted a 3-5-2 mark in its last 10 games.
