Welcome to Inside College Hockey's latest weekly feature, Go-To Guys, in which we take a look at the candidates for major college hockey awards.

We start with the game's biggest individual honor: The Hobey Baker Memorial Award.

Inside College Hockey editors and staff, in consultation with coaches and media from around the country, compiled this list of how we would vote today – not necessarily how we think the races will turn out. And stay tuned, because a lot can change each weekend.

THE HOBEY BAKER MEMORIAL AWARD – Jan. 14, 2003
1. Peter Sejna
Colorado College
Has been a dominant offensive force for college hockey's most surprising – and possibly best – team.
22 GP, 22-21—43
2. Zach Parise
North Dakota
Better than advertised? Leads nation in points per game, wows scouts at World Junior Championship.
20 GP, 15-27—42
3. Lanny Gare
New Hampshire
The Wildcats' top defensive forward a year ago, he's taken over for Darren Haydar as their best offensive threat as well.
20 GP, 14-22—36
4. Dave LeNeveu
Cornell
He hasn't played since Dec. 7, so the buzz may have died down – but he's still the biggest reason for Cornell's success.
11 GP, 10-1-0, 1.18, .942
5. Chris Kunitz
Ferris State
Rode shotgun with finalist Rob Collins last season. Second to no one nationally in points this time around.
22 GP, 16-27—43
Next in line Paul Martin (Minnesota), Martin Kariya (Maine), Ben Eaves (Boston College), Tom Preissing (Colorado College)
Ready to make a run R.J. Umberger (Ohio State), Brandon Bochenski (North Dakota)
On the radar Dominic Moore (Harvard), Doug Murray (Cornell), Wade Dubielewicz (Denver), Ryan Malone (St. Cloud State), Chris Higgins (Yale), Grant Stevenson (Minnesota State, Mankato)
