TYLER SIMS
Providence

His Statistics: 2 GP, 2-0-0, 0 GA, 43 saves

His Impact: Sims posted his first career shutout in a 4-0 win over UMass Lowell Friday night and added his second just 24 hours later agains the River Hawks, becoming the first Friar goaltender to record a shutout in consecutive games. Sims' save totals weren't overwhelming (23 on Friday, 19 on Saturday), but his presence helped lift a Providence team that rebounded from an 0-2-0 start with a pair of convincing upsets. Sims' early numbers (2-2-0, 1.67 GAA, .926 sv. pct.) are significant improvements over his freshman year (2.80, .914).

His Runners-Up: Rob Godfrey (Holy Cross), Andy Greene (Miami), Mathias Lange (Rensselaer), Brady Leisenring (Vermont), Brian Salcido (Colorado College), Kurt Wright (Robert Morris)
