TRAVIS RUSSELL
Vermont

His Statistics: 1-0-0, 29 saves in a 2-1 win at Maine

His Impact: Russell had gone nearly a month without a start before getting the call in Vermont's visit to Alfond Arena, and he turned in a gem in his Hockey East debut. He stopped 29 of 30 shots and earned first-star honors, leading the Catamounts to their 10th victory of the season – and easily their most impressive to this point.

His Runners-Up: Jerad Kaufmann (Nebraska-Omaha), Greg Rallo (Ferris State), Brett Sterling (Colorado College), Stephen Werner (Massachusetts)
