Impact: While it's tough to single out any
Badger from their impressive sweep of Colorado College,
it can't hurt to start with the guy who his coach considers
one of, if not the best defenseman in the nation. Gilbert
has done it all at both ends of the rink for the Badgers,
a trend that continued with a goal Friday night and
four points (1-3—4 on Saturday). Meanwhile, he
and his teammates held the high-scoring Tigers to three
goals on the weekend as Wisconsin cruised to a 3-2 and
9-1 sweep on the road.
