Impact: The most impressive aspect of Kolarik's
four-goal, three-assist showing in the Wolverines' non-conference
wins this past weekend wasn't the sheer number of points
or the variety of ways he scored his goals (two on the
power play, one shorthanded, two unassisted), but the
efficiency with which he did it. He scored on his only
shot in Michigan's 8-1 romp over Alabama-Huntsville
Friday, then added a hat trick on four shots in a 7-5
win over Connecticut the following night.
