hat trick – the last being the game-tying goal
with 13 seconds left in regulation – in the Pioneers'
improbable 5-4 overtime win against Mercyhurst Saturday.
Amazing O'Brien Weekend Note No. 2: The three-goal outing
Saturday was his second-best offensive showing of the
series. Against the Lakers on Friday, he scored two
goals and added three assists as Sacred Heart posted
a 6-4 win over the Lakers. O'Brien leads the Pioneers
in scoring with six goals and four assists in eight
games. For his career, he's scored 57 goals and 122
points in 114 games.
