Impact: Ferris State has always had a great home-ice
advantage at Ewigleben Ice Arena, but the Bulldogs seem to
have found a second home in Madison, Wis. Despite entering
with just a 6-10-2 record, they won their second straight
Badger Hockey Showdown, thanks in large part to three goals
from the high-scoring Legue. In the championship-game upset
of host Wisconsin he scored the first goal in a three-goal
Ferris State first period, then got the game-winner early
in the third after the Badgers had surged to tie the score.
