• Three Boston College players had lengthy scoring streaks snapped over the weekend. Senior forward Brock Bradford and sophomore forward Brian Gibbons had their seven-game streaks come to a close, and senior forward Benn Ferriero’s six-game streak ended.

• Boston University senior forward Chris Higgins has 99 career points. With one more point, he’ll become the 75th player in BU history to reach the 100-point milestone.

• BU beat Holy Cross on Tuesday in the teams’ first meeting since Jan. 5, 1948, when Jack Parker was just 2 years old.

• UMass is 3-1-1 against teams ranked in the top five this season, and a Mullins Center-record crowd of 8,389 showed up to watch the Minutemen beat No. 4 BC, 4-3, in overtime Saturday night.

• After failing to score a power-play goal in 19 consecutive chances, the Minutemen were 2-for-2 in their 3-2 loss to Vermont on Tuesday.

• UMass Lowell is 0-3 in one-goal games this season.

• Merrimack snapped its six-game losing streak at Maine with a 1-1 tie Saturday night.

• New Hampshire sophomore forward Mike Sislo has six goals this season, doubling his total from last year.

• Northeastern junior forward Greg Costa scored three goals in the Huskies’ 4-3 win at Lowell on Saturday. It was Northeastern’s first hat trick since Ryan Ginand did it Nov. 4, 2005.

• Providence will be an honorary ECAC member for the next two weeks, with upcoming games against Dartmouth, Union, Quinnipiac and Brown.

• Vermont became the first team in 16 years to sweep a weekend series at Boston University. (Maine did it in November 1992 at Walter Brown Arena.) The Catamounts are 7-3-2 this season. It took them until Feb. 3 to pick up their seventh win last season.
