Princeton goalie Zane Kalemba earned Ivy League Player of the Year recognition when the All-Ivy League teams were announced Thursday. The junior goalie currently leads the nation in goals-against average (1.61) and save percentage (.938). Cornell junior forward Colin Greening, the only player to be unanimously selected to the All-Ivy first team, joined Kalemba on the first team. Yale junior forward Sean Backman was an All-Ivy first teamer for the third straight year.

Fellow third-year players Mark Arcobello of Yale, and defensemen Brendon Nash of Cornell and Jody Pederson of Princeton were also named to the first team. The only sophomore was Dartmouth forward Scott Fleming.

Dartmouth goalie Jody O’Neill was the Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
