Two of the nation’s foremost news-gathering organizations have stories on Tuesday that look at the underdogs in Thursday’s games:
- The Associated Press profiles the Vermont program and its recovery from the hazing scandal that cost it half a season - and probably set the program back further than that - to reach the Frozen Four again (while leading the fight against hazing).
- The New York Times has a definitive look at everybody’s underdog, Bemidji State, and even takes us to Bemidji for a first-hand look at the excitement the Frozen Four trip has generated.
