It was another rough week for the nation's top teams, as each of last week's top four suffered one loss over the weekend. Colorado College and Maine hung on to the top two spots, but Boston College is hot on their heels. Read on to find out how we think the top teams stack up, then check out INCH 4x4 to see where you might be watching your favorite team in the NCAA Regionals.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff ranks the nation's top teams. As always, you can let us know what you think.

1. Colorado College

Sure, they lost a game – but so did everyone else in last week's top four. The Tigers stay on top.

2. Maine Home unbeaten streak ends at 28 games. Still, Black Bears play four of last six at Alfond.
3. Boston College 3 Eagles are Hockey East's hottest team (8-1-0 in last nine). Win Monday night, and they'll warrant consideration for No. 1.
4. North Dakota Sioux latest team to find out that Michigan Tech is much improved.
5. New Hampshire 2 Key stat from Sunday's loss to PC: Schaefer, 46 saves; Ayers, 21.
6. Michigan 1 Eric Nystrom is the first-round draft pick, but classmate Milan Gajic has four goals in his last four games.
7. Cornell A loss to Colgate raised questions, but two wins by a 14-2 margin provided answers.
8. Minnesota Third-period rally against CC Saturday should provide much-needed boost.
9. Ferris State (Mason) Cup Crazy in Big Rapids – Bulldogs could clinch first home playoff series this weekend
10. Ohio State 1 Cardiac Bucks win Friday with OT goal; notch GWG Saturday with 2:21 left in regulation.
11. Minnesota State, Mankato 2 Kept unbeaten streak alive this weekend. Yes, we know, they didn't play ...
12. Boston University 2 The last time BC swept BU in their Hockey East games, before this year, was 1990-91, when the Terriers won the Beanpot and reached the NCAA title game.
13. Harvard 1 After loss to BU, Crimson might need another long run in the ECAC Tournament – if not a title – to make the NCAAs.
14. Denver 4 Pioneers are in a tailspin, and the road ahead is tough: series with North Dakota, Michigan Tech, Minnesota and Colorado College round out the season.
15. Michigan State More than bragging rights at stake in weekend series vs. Michigan; Spartans need to climb in Pairwise Rankings.
16. Miami Speaking of teams that need a PWR boost, RedHawks need a good showing against Ohio State, what with Sacred Heart, UAF and Lake State left on the docket.
