None of last week's top seven teams could manage a sweep. But Ferris State did, and head coach Bob Daniels' squad joins Colorado College as the only 23-win teams in the nation. As a result, they overcome a crowded field and – in what may seem as unlikely as a two-foot snowstorm in our nation's capital – the Bulldogs stand just behind CC in this week's INCH Power Rankings.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff ranks the nation's top teams. As always, you can let us know what you think.

1. Colorado College

Another loss, Sejna's point streak is over ... but all is not lost, as the Tigers hold firm to No. 1 spot.

2. Ferris State 7 The nation's second 23-win team, they stand barely above an eight-team pack contending for second place.
3. Maine 1 2-3-2 in their last seven is not the kind of end-of-year performance we're accustomed to from the Black Bears.
4. Cornell 3 Despite tie Friday night, Big Red take firm control of ECAC title race. A race they've controlled since August.
5. New Hampshire Wildcats rejoin Hockey East title hunt with win and tie, while rivals Maine and BC both lost.
6. North Dakota 2 Has Parise hit the wall? 2-2—4 in his last six games.
7. Boston College 4 Things looked so good just a week ago. Now this team looks like it really needs Patrick Eaves back.
8. Michigan 2 Wolverines are 3-5-1 in CCHA road games. Good thing they're hosting the NCAA Regional.
9. Minnesota 1 Hard to believe Gophers are closer to seventh (six points) than they are to first (eight).
10. Boston University 2 They're flying – as everyone in the world would expect for this time of year.
11. Ohio State 1 Lost control of their CCHA title destiny with shutout loss to Miami. Maybe they loaded up on Skyline Chili before the game.
12. Minnesota State, Mankato 1 Yes, you can sweep a bad team and drop a spot (see Minnesota vs. Wisconsin).
13. Denver 1 How important was Aaron MacKenzie's GWG with two seconds left in regulation Saturday?
14. Providence NR Feel like starting over? The Friars did, and they're playing like it's October again.
15. Harvard 2 NCAA hopes will most likely come down the ECAC Tournament, which is a shame for a team with this much talent.
16. Michigan State 1 Nobody's comparing John-Michael Liles to Bobby Orr, but he could be the best offensive defenseman in the college game.
