Cornell might have felt slighted by the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, but they'll get some love here. By virtue of their ECAC Tournament title, the Big Red ascend to the No. 1 spot in the INCH Power Rankings entering the NCAA Tournament.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff ranks the nation's top teams. You can let us know what you think and we'll share your thoughts below.

1. Cornell 2

Dave LeNeveu is one shutout shy of Ryan Miller's single-season record. He hopes his season ends happier than Miller's did in 2001.

2. Minnesota 3 There's no doubt: the Gophers are primed for a repeat. Just look at the first 5:25 of Saturday's game with CC for proof.
3. Colorado College 2 Tigers won't be in Michigan's locker room, even though they have the higher seed. Ann Arbor News will need something else to gripe about.
4. New Hampshire The best program without a title gets another shot, starting Friday.
5. Ferris State 3 Yeah, they've dropped ... but if Saturday night was the only time you've seen Ferris play, know that they aren't prone to stinkers like that.
6. Michigan A very good 3 seed. And they're at home, another reason the Midwest is the bracket of death.
7. Boston University St. Cloud's tournament inclusion is causing an uproar, but we're scratching our heads considering that the 13-loss Terriers were almost a No. 1 seed.
8. Boston College Get some goaltending and the Eagles could be heading to Upstate New York. They can have team meals at the Reasoner, Gionta and Forrest households.
9. Maine Tim Whitehead might want to call George Gwozdecky for his thoughts on playing Michigan at Yost during the NCAA Tournament.
10. Harvard 2 Seemingly on the bubble all year, the Crimson gave Cornell a run and earned their bid.
11. Minnesota-Duluth 4 Here's why computer formulas are bad for college hockey tournament selection. St. Cloud's series vs. Ferris five months ago is more important than UMD's excellent showing at the X.
12. North Dakota 1 It's easy to forget the Sioux, what with the difficulties they've had lately. But they could be dangerous if they return to the form they showed earlier in the season.
13. Minnesota State, Mankato 3 Mavs enter their first-ever NCAA Division I Tournament with their first losing streak of the season. Ouch.
14. Ohio State 1 Buckeye fans...need a guide to Providence nightlife? Call Mo Vaughn.
15. Michigan State 1 Brian Maloney watched last year's playoffs from a wheelchair. A feel-good comeback story, it's a shame he won't have the chance to play in the NCAAs this year.
16. Northern Michigan NR Line of the weekend, courtesy of coach Walt Kyle, when asked about the Pairwise Rankings: "I'm a Northern grad. I'm not smart enough to figure that stuff out."

Bubble-licious

Massachusetts; St. Cloud State; Providence; Denver; Mercyhurst; Wayne State
