If you thought it would be a cold day in hell before both Alaska schools found their way into the INCH Power Rankings, we'll remind you that the Boston Red Sox did win the World Series, so the climate of the underworld is changing. So are the fortunes of Anchorage and Fairbanks, who are both coming off home sweeps and heading into winnable series this weekend on the road.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff rank the Seawolves, Nanooks, and the rest of the nation's top teams (along with movement since last week and a note).

No. Team

Of Note
1. Boston College BC football wore 1984 replica jerseys Saturday, which makes us ask: when will the hockey team break out the old-fashioned Eagle across the chest?

2. Michigan 3 You wonder if Michigan even recognized reeling Miami as the same team that it saw in the season-opening Lefty McFadden Tournament.
