With a sweep at Minnesota, Colorado College lays claim to the No. 1 ranking, and look here – the Tigers have another huge series on the horizon. As they eye the WCHA's MacNaughton Cup, they host the defending champion Fighting Sioux this weekend.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff rank the nation's top teams (along with movement since last week and a note for each team).

1. Colorado College 1 The Tigers end Minnesota's year-long home winning streak and become the fifth team this year to take hold of the top spot in the INCH Power Rankings.
18-3-1 (11-3-0 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W at Minnesota, 3-2 ot; W at Minnesota, 5-3. THIS WEEK: vs. North Dakota, vs. North Dakota.
2. Boston College 1 The Eagles may have hit their stride: unbeaten in six, they've allowed more than a goal in just one of those games. That time, their opponent scored a whopping two goals.
11-3-3 (6-1-3 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W at Merrimack, 4-1; W at Merrimack, 3-1. THIS WEEK: at Yale, vs. Boston University, at Boston University.
3. Minnesota 2 How quickly can a six-game winning streak turn into a three-game losing streak? About as fast as the walk from Walter Brown Arena to Agganis Arena, apparently.
16-7-0 (9-5-0 WCHA). LAST WEEK: L at Boston University, 2-1; L vs. Colorado College, 3-2 ot; L vs. Colorado College, 5-3. THIS WEEK: vs. Minnesota State (Xcel Energy Center); at Minnesota State.
4. Michigan The Wolverines managed a sweep against Western Michigan, though it seemed every Bronco except Puck Boy scored on Al Montoya.
16-5-1 (13-1-0 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Western Michigan, 6-4; W at Western Michigan, 6-5. THIS WEEK: vs. Alaska-Fairbanks, vs. Alaska-Fairbanks.
5. New Hampshire 1 In case Saturday's UNH-Yale game makes you curious, Ed Caron has 10 points in 18 games for the Greenville Grrrowl, but is currently on injured reserve.
14-4-2 (8-1-1 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W at Providence, 2-1; W vs. Providence, 4-1. THIS WEEK: vs. Dartmouth, vs. Yale.
6. Wisconsin 1 Rest assured, Badger fans, as you face the team that beat you in last year's WCHA playoffs: Chris King is in Germany. We checked.
15-6-1 (12-4-0 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W at St. Cloud State, 6-0; W at St. Cloud State, 4-2. THIS WEEK: vs. Alaska Anchorage, vs. Alaska Anchorage.
7. Denver 2 About the only thing more baffling than the scores coming out of Magness this weekend is the lack of movement on the NHL labor front.
14-6-1 (9-4-1 WCHA). LAST WEEK: L vs. Michigan Tech, 3-0; W vs. Michigan Tech, 1-0. THIS WEEK: Off.
8. Colgate 2 Road trip recap: First sweep of Harvard since 1998-99 and seldom-used senior Anthony Masotto scores twice in win over Brown.
15-5-0 (7-1-0 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: W at Harvard, 3-1; W at Brown, 3-1. THIS WEEK: at Rensselaer, at Union.
9. Vermont 4 Those wins at Union and RPI won't be the last time that the Catamounts will be in the Albany-area this season.
13-6-3 (7-1-2 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: W at Union, 4-0; W at Rensselaer, 3-0. THIS WEEK: vs. Dartmouth.
10. North Dakota 2 Fighting Sioux enter series vs. CC with a 4-5-0 mark against teams that currently have winning records. They're 10-3-2 against everyone else.
14-8-2 (10-7-1 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Minnesota State, 3-2; L vs. Minnesota State, 4-3. THIS WEEK: at Colorado College, at Colorado College.
11. Harvard Du the right thing: Kevin Du responded to benching in Friday night's game, scoring the game's only goal against Cornell.
10-5-2 (7-4-1 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: L vs. Colgate, 3-1; W vs. Cornell, 1-0. THIS WEEK: Off.
12. Cornell 3 The Big Red were the first team to solve Brown's Adam D'Alba, but couldn't beat Harvard's Dov Grumet-Morris.
9-4-2 (5-2-1 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: W at Brown, 4-2; L at Harvard, 1-0. THIS WEEK: at Union, at Rensselaer.
13. Boston University 2 With the success of walk-ons John Curry and Matt Radoslovich, why does BU need the recruiting power of Agganis Arena?

14. Ohio State 2 Saturday's OT loss to Ferris State snapped the Buckeyes' home winning streak at 13, which tied the school record.
13-6-3 (10-3-1 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Ferris State, 3-1; L vs. Ferris State, 3-2 ot. THIS WEEK: at Notre Dame, at Notre Dame.
15. Maine 1 A remedy for Maine's 0-2-1 stretch against ECACHL teams: a 6-0 win over future ECACHL member Quinnipiac.
11-8-3 (6-3-1 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W vs. U.S. Under-18 Team, 8-4 (Ex.); W vs. Quinnipiac, 6-0. THIS WEEK: at Massachusetts, at Massachusetts.
16. UMass Lowell 1 They're not your last-place River Hawks any more, and only four teams in the nation have fewer losses.
11-5-2 (2-5-2 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W vs. Massachusetts, 4-3; W vs. Northeastern, 2-1. THIS WEEK: vs. Merrimack, at Merrimack.
17. Bowling Green NR 11 Falcons record at least one point in Friday's 6-2 win against UAF. In Saturday's 6-1 series finale, 14 names found their way on the BGSU scoresheet.

18. Nebraska-Omaha NR Hitter's count – Mavs notch back-to-back 3-1 wins against visiting Northern Michigan. At the Qwest Center, not Rosenblatt.

19. Northern Michigan 3 Miami, after a series with Michigan State, continues its tour of teams we just can't get a handle on against NMU this weekend.

20. Bemidji State NR "We’ll take the two points, but we stole the game," head coach Tom Serratore told the Pioneer Saturday. "This game has to be devastating for Air Force." We trust his brother, Falcon coach Frank, would agree.
