After unveiling a new No. 1 last week, we have relatively few changes to report near the top of this week's INCH Power Rankings – but there's plenty of movement beneath the surface.

Here's how the Inside College Hockey editors and staff rank the nation's top teams (along with movement since last week and a note for each team).

1. Colorado College Hold that Tiger – CC is 9-0-1 in its last 10, with the next four series against the WCHA's bottom feeders.
20-3-1 (13-3-0 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. North Dakota, 2-1; W vs. North Dakota, 1-0. THIS WEEK: vs. Minnesota Duluth, vs. Minnesota Duluth.
2. Boston College Three goals against in three games last weekend actually cost the Eagles the No. 1 spot in scoring defense (1.65 goals against per game, just behind Cornell). But a sweep of BU and an eight-game winning streak soothes the pain.
14-3-3 (8-1-3 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W at Yale, 1-0; W vs. Boston University, 6-3; W at Boston University, 2-0. THIS WEEK: vs. Northeastern, vs. New Hampshire.
3. Minnesota Don Lucia, Friday night: "It was one of those nights where somebody's going to win with a late field goal." If only the Vikings could keep it that close.
18-7-0 (11-5-0 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Minnesota State, 9-6; W at Minnesota State, 2-1. THIS WEEK: vs. Michigan Tech, vs. Michigan Tech.
4. Michigan Sophomore T.J. Hensick scored two goals and two assists in weekend sweep of UAF to extend his point streak to eight games.
18-5-1 (15-1-0 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Alaska-Fairbanks, 5-2; W vs. Alaska-Fairbanks, 5-2. THIS WEEK: at Ohio State, at Ohio State.
5. Wisconsin 1 Who says it's about defense? Badgers record the first 50-shot game of the Eaves era to spank the Seawolves.
17-6-1 (14-4-0 WCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Alaska Anchorage, 6-1; W vs. Alaska Anchorage, 3-2. THIS WEEK: at Notre Dame, vs. Notre Dame (Chicago).
6. Denver 1 Since Dec. 1, the Pioneers and archrival Colorado College have combined for a 16-2-2 record.
14-6-1 (9-4-1 WCHA). LAST WEEK: Off. THIS WEEK: at St. Cloud State, at St. Cloud State.
7. New Hampshire 2 From the land of misleading statistics: the Wildcats averaged 8.0 goals per game last week.
15-5-2 (8-1-1 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: L vs. Dartmouth, 9-8; W vs. Yale, 8-2. THIS WEEK: vs. Merrimack, at Boston College.
8. Colgate The Raiders are front-and-center in what could be the best ECACHL weekend of the year, with four teams in the INCH Power Rankings meeting in Upstate New York.
17-5-0 (9-1-0 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: W at Rensselaer, 4-2; W at Union, 1-0. THIS WEEK: vs. Vermont, vs. Dartmouth.
9. Harvard 2 The Crimson had the weekend off ... if you consider studying for final exams at Harvard a weekend off.
10-5-2 (7-4-1 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: Off. THIS WEEK: Off.
10. Cornell 2 The Big Red posted a 5-0 win in Troy, or shutout city – three of RPI's last seven home games have been shutout losses for the home team.
11-4-2 (7-2-1 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: W at Union, 2-1 ot; W at Rensselaer, 5-0. THIS WEEK: vs. Dartmouth, vs. Vermont.
11. North Dakota 1 Fighting Sioux have been shutout three times this season. In Dean Blais's 10 seasons at UND, his teams were blanked a total of six times.
14-10-2 (10-9-1 WCHA). LAST WEEK: L at Colorado College, 2-1; L at Colorado College, 1-0. THIS WEEK: Off.
12. Vermont 3 Undisciplined Catamounts were whistled for 16 penalties Saturday, including five straight in the decisive second period.
13-7-3 (7-2-2 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: L vs. Dartmouth, 5-2. THIS WEEK: at Colgate, at Cornell.
13. Ohio State 1 No pressure, Buckeyes, but if Michigan sweeps you at home this weekend, the Wolverines will be nine points in front of you with 10 games remaining.
15-6-3 (12-3-1 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W at Notre Dame, 4-1; W at Notre Dame, 3-1. THIS WEEK: vs. Michigan, vs. Michigan.
14. UMass Lowell 2 Here's a source of pride right up there with Lowell's nation-best 11-game unbeaten streak: 20 River Hawks made the Dean's List in the fall semester, and 10 had GPAs of 3.5 or better.
13-5-2 (4-5-2 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: W vs. Merrimack, 3-1; W at Merrimack, 5-2. THIS WEEK: at Brown, at Massachusetts.
15. Boston University 2 BU's first loss at Agganis Arena wasn't memorable for Jack Parker: "Twenty-one people played great tonight," he said. "Twenty on BC and my goaltender."
13-9-0 (9-3-0 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: L at Boston College, 6-3; L vs. Boston College, 2-0. THIS WEEK: at Maine, at Maine.
16. Maine 1 Seems like the Black Bears are scuffling along but after a 6-6-0 start, they're 6-2-4 in their last 12 games.
12-8-4 (7-3-2 Hockey East). LAST WEEK: T at Massachusetts, 2-2 ot; W at Massachusetts, 5-2. THIS WEEK: vs. Boston University, vs. Boston University.
17. Bowling Green Weekend series at Northern Michigan marks the start of a crucial four-week stretch during which Falcons play seven of eight on the road.
10-7-3 (7-5-2 CCHA). LAST WEEK: Off. THIS WEEK: at Northern Michigan, at Northern Michigan.
18. Nebraska-Omaha School's acronym (UNO) describes goaltender Chris Holt's play as of late – he's allowed one goal in three of his last four starts.
11-9-2 (9-7-2 CCHA). LAST WEEK: T at Ferris State, 2-2 ot; W at Ferris State, 4-1. NEXT GAME: at Miami, at Miami.
19. Northern Michigan Only a fan of binary code could love the Wildcats' offensive output in their last six games – 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1.
10-7-5 (8-5-3 CCHA). LAST WEEK: W vs. Miami, 1-0; T vs. Miami, 1-1 ot. THIS WEEK: vs. Bowling Green, vs. Bowling Green.
20. Dartmouth NR So much for the Big Green's early-season scoring woes: they've netted at least five goals in four of their last five games, including nine twice.
8-7-2 (5-5-0 ECACHL). LAST WEEK: W vs. New Hampshire, 9-8; W at Vermont, 5-2. THIS WEEK: at Cornell, at Colgate.
